We know The Avenues is THE spot for shopping... but did you know that there's more you could do? Here are a few ideas of ways you could spend your weekend at The Avenues with family and friends doing all sorts of fun stuff, other than shopping!
It seems like Kuwait’s main source
of entertainment is going to restaurants with your friends, and for good
reason: Because, well, food is life. The Avenues is known to include a large
number of the trendiest and most delicious restaurants and cafés in Kuwait, and
recently, a few restaurants have joined The Avenues family, so here’s a fun
list to try:
ROTO
Are you a fan of rotisserie
chicken? Even if you aren’t, you NEED to try it at ROTO, because it’s a whole
other experience. Our Team especially loved the Shish Tawook platter and the
Corn Brûlée.
ROTO is located in 2nd Avenue, next to Little Ruby’s.
LITTLE RUBY'S
In the mood for comfort food?
Healthy salads? Delicious desserts? Try Little Ruby’s. The recently-opened
restaurant caters to everyone’s taste!

next to Roto.
FLOCAFE KUWAIT
Hey coffeeholics, you’ll love this
one. FloCafe Kuwait is designed to elevate your coffee experience, and what
makes the café unique isn’t only its wide variety of delicious coffees, it’s
also the ambiance it provides from the moment you step inside.
Flocafe is located in 2nd Avenue,
next to Lumiere.
LUMIERE
If you have a sweet tooth, you will
love Lumiere! Known for its fluffy donuts, it will definitely leave you wanting
some more. Once you’ve filled your sweet craving, you can also check out the
rest of their menu for other options!

While it's true that you could watch all the
newest movies from the comfort of your home, there's still something about
going to the movies that makes it worth the effort, we especially felt that when we
couldn't go for the past two years (thanks, 'rona). From the big screen, the people, the sound,
and the food - the movies still have a certain charm that your home just can't
match. Check out either Cinescape or VOX Cinemas for a fun experience!

ThatAlSalasil, the café is the perfect secluded spot for a peaceful read (and
delicious treats!).
STARBUCKS,
GRAND PLAZA
While Starbucks
is usually crowded, their first floor in that branch is surprisingly as quiet
as it is charming. Not only do you get a great view and your favorite coffee,
but you also get a quiet spot to enjoy your favorite book.
THEATER CAFÉ AT
VOX CINEMAS
We bet you
didn’t know about that spot! Yes, the café is inside VOX, and no, you
don’t need a ticket to enter.

This is probably obvious, but ThatAlSalasil has a quiet place where you could either bring your own book or choose any book from there and enjoy a quiet read.
What about spending
the night at The Hilton Garden Inn - Kuwait? The 5-star hotel is such a beautiful space
to unwind with a range of delicious restaurants, an outdoor pool, and a
relaxing spa (not to mention the direct access to The Avenues), so it’s a guaranteed relaxing staycation!
