“For Summer/Pre-Fall 2022, we thought about the need for both the
dream and reality. For something new as well as the idea of versatility. The
collection is anchored in American sportswear classics that are reframed
through combinations of proportion, material and pattern, creating something
familiar yet different. Dresses and separates in feminine silhouettes — nipped
waists, fluid lines, subtle corsetry, color- and print-blocking that guide
shape and structure. We explored knit dressing, especially feather-weight and
tech knit layers that envelop the body without restricting it. Accessories
complete the collection’s sense of ease and lightness: jewelry and handbags
with hand-done details and sandals with a flattering bareness.” — Tory Burch
