Traveling is back to its pre-covid days, and many families are trying to make up the quarantine days by traveling abroad with their children. And if you thought packing for yourself was a hassle, packing for kids is far more difficult, especially when you’re traveling with kids under the age of six, which is why we’ve provided you with a full-proof family packing list to make sure you have a smooth, drama-free trip.
PS: Scroll down for the
ultimate kids' packing list that you can save (and even print).
Mothers know that this
bag is more important than their own personal bags since it includes the baby's essentials:
- spare clothes
- diapers
- wet wipes
- changing mat
- plastic bags to get
rid of used diapers
- pacifiers
Children are not always the easiest to feed or find proper food for.
That’s why parents with children under the age of 6 prefer to bring their own
food.
- Cerelac (or whatever your child is used to)
- Their lunchbox (to be able to pack their food when you go on long trips)
- Their own water bottle.
If your child is
under the age of 2, we recommend packing enough milk and the following:
- Stacking milk
powder dispenser
- Breastfeeding
bottles
- Travel bottle
- Food and milk warmer
If your child is under the age of 6, then you’ll probably need a
lightweight stroller, instead of carrying them; and if your kids can walk, then we recommend a carrier since it's a more comfortable
solution.
Just to make your life a little easier, The Avenues Insider team got together to create the ultimate packing list for you! You can just save it (and print it if you want to be super careful) to make sure you have an organized bag and a smooth trip!
