If you can’t travel this summer but want
to escape the heat, then a staycation is the way to go – better yet, you get to
skip the hassle of packing and airports!
Whether alone, with friends, or family,
here is your 5-day itinerary for the best staycation.
Waldorf Astoria: The 5-star iconic hotel, directly connected to Prestige, is the perfect option if you’re looking for a luxurious experience. Click here to read what Waldorf Astoria has to offer!
Hilton Garden Inn: This cozy hotel is the perfect choice if you’re looking for a laid-back staycation. With spacious rooms, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere, Hilton Garden Inn promises you the most comfortable experience!
If you’re a foodie, then you know the food at
The Avenues is unmatched! On your first day, you should gather your friends and
prepare to have the best culinary experience. Here’s what we recommend for
August!
Breakfast: For the early birds, we recommend either trying Masgouf in The Gardens district for a delicious oriental breakfast, Baraka in Grand Avenue district for a healthy option, or Life with Cacao in Grand Avenue district for a posh café ambiance.
Coffee Break: After breakfast, it’s time for your coffee break. When it comes to
coffee, The Avenues has many options for you to choose from! If you’re in The
Forum, you can try Arabica, Toby’s Estate, or LaVazza.
Lunch: After your walk, it’s now time for lunch. We recommend the
Palestinian restaurant Matbakhi by the one and only Chef Sawsan, or B+F
for an upscale casual dining experience, or Meme’s Curry, Kuwait’s first
Japanese curry house, located in 1st Avenue district.
Dessert: Since there’s always room for dessert, you can try everyone’s
favorite ice cream from KDD in the Food Court, a decadent crepe from Joy
Cafe in The Mall district, or you could grab a cookie from Ben’s Cookies
at The Mall district.
Dinner: Now your last stop of the food tour is dinner – and we prefer to
keep it light, that’s why we recommend Tatami, if you’re in the mood for
Japanese, Bebabel for a delicious Lebanese dinner, or Baker and Spice for yummy
local, organic, and homemade fresh food.
PS: Remember, calories don’t count during staycations either.
Whether you’re with your kids or just you and
your friends, the entertainment at The Avenues does not disappoint.
· Watch a movie: Cinescape or VOX Cinema
· Unleash your inner child: Quest, VR, Magic Planet, Below Zero
